DLJac Try making these changes to GraphicsRules.sgr:

You'd want to copy the file to ConfigOverride, inside Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4, and also copy TS4CommonRules.sgr to the same location. (The point is that these copies wouldn't be reverted after another update or a repair.) The thread has more context if you're curious.
