I cant see anythings in the gallairy eitherJust keeps spinning.
Hi. I have had nothing but issues with my Sims4 game for the last 8 months. It continually crashes. I have completely uninstalled the game and reinstalled it. That worked for 2 weeks and now when i load the EA app it is extremely slow to load and flashes blank black screen and then the app loads. When i start the Sims4 game it the screen flashes a white screen with black lines on the bottom that flashes like 5 times than goes to the main Sims4 screen. It will then go to the main Sims4 game but the Live mode will not work. Also when I click on "resume game" it just goes to the load screen and just keeps spinning. I have had it sit for 10 minutes and it keeps spinning. I am going thru complete withdrawel from my Sims. I play to keep my mind off my extreme pain but constantly having issues. I have never had these issues when Sims was with Origin. Ever since it went to EA app I have had nothing but problems. Game is constantly glitchy. I just want to play my game. I am NOT a normal gamer where I know computers. I just want to start my game and play it so I do not understand folders and documents. I talked to Customer Service and they were extremely rude and not helpful. I just want to play my game please. I have sent at least 6 EA error reports.87Views0likes3CommentsOn Laptop, Update 1.121.361.1020 crashes upon startup
I have been having this problem since Update 1.121.361.1020, but I bought the Royalty & Legacy Expansion, and since the update for the release, my main Laptop monitor will glitch out upon starting the Sims 4 game from the EA launcher app, then reset to a white "booting up" screen in the Sims 4 window, but will not load the Sims 4 game after several hours. I have done a complete uninstall and reinstall several times, even after the latest update 1.121.372.1020. The rest of my games work perfectly fine. It is only the Sims 4 I am having a problem just starting up, so I know its not my laptop.Solved176Views0likes4CommentsGame freezes & icons duplicate
My CAS works just fine; it's my live mode and (partially) build mode that are the issue. When I open live mode, it usually works okay for the first thirty seconds, but pretty much as soon as I move my screen or zoom out, the game temporarily freezes, and icons (such as thought bubbles & the "go here" option thingy) freeze in place, and more freezes are created when the sim moves. Usually, at this point, the screen goes grey. I have removed all of my CC, repaired the game through Steam, and even created a new save file, and nothing has worked in the least. I would like to know how to repair this, as it genuinely makes the game unplayable. I've attached a screenshot of my issue. I am also on an ACER laptop with plenty of storage, and this has been happening for months now. My laptop runs on Windows 11. Edit: The issue has been fixed, and all I did was switch my graphics quality from low to high, then back to low. I was treating my new computer like my old computer, and I guess it took offense to that.Game Crashes after The sims 4 loading screen
my game has been having some issues for a while now and i’ve tried everything that is possible to try and fix my game as before it wouldn’t let me save my character in CAS and play the game so i did some things like clear the cache that’s a package file and other things that were okay to do, now my game won’t even load up and comes up with a “not enough memory” error message but i’ve ran an integrity check on the files through steam and it still won’t work. Just trying to find a solution as i have spent a lot of money on this game for it to just bug out :( If anyone has any suggestions please help. Thank youThe game doesn't work
My sims keeps crashing out of nowhere since months ago, either while i build or when i make a sim. I left the game for months thinking it will be fine after multiple updates but now i can't even play my game. I can't save when i make a sims, i have to save in between playing when i build a house or the game will close on its own, and the worst is i can't load my family. If i choose a sims to play, the game is loading but not opening, instead it jumps back to the world pick. It's so annoying. I even repair and redownload the game but nothing works. I attach some latest exception and crash file, Please help me with this.game keeps freezing
There's a few bugs with my game. when I load in my game keeps crashing and exiting the game after a few minutes, I've tried to repair the game, restart my pc, clear cache, and deleting mods none have worked. Another glitch is when I move my camera to turn, zoom in or out my game freezes and won't let me exit the game it'll be frozen until I completely turn my pc off and back on and when I try to load back in the game, the same thing will happen. Lastly, whenever I travel, my game freezes. I'll load me into wherever I travelled to and after seconds my game will freeze. this has been going on since the first February 2026 update. My game is failing me again....
So, about a month ago (I made a post on this a ways back) I couldn't load the gallery, make new sims or save my game at all. The issue has been persisting still, although for some reason the lost legacies quest progress saved, which was a relief. Today, I tried to login after troubleshooting again to fix it (So far I have tried to delete the thumbcache folder, make a backup file and unistall + reinstall the game, use the repair feature, disable my antivirus software, pause syncing on onedrive, and so on...) and the game keeps saying that it has now run out of memory and cannot start anymore. It crashes when I try to open it. I have ample storage space on my computer, so I know it can't be a lack of storage. I'm getting really frustrated that the game has basically become completely unplayable to me at this point, especially considering that I have spent a significant amount of money on expansion packs and the like. I just want to play the sims, and now I can't anymore because of my game having so many issues! Nothing I do seems to fix it. Does anyone know how I can get it to work again, and properly load the game without all these issues? And relatedly, If i still am unable to get it to work, is it possible to have the add ons, kits, and expansion packs i've bought over the years refunded (despite how long i've owned them) so i can quit the sims 4 completely and at least get my money back as compensation for the grief it's given me? Thank you, and please send help and advice. This has been driving me insane for too long.Sims 4 Has Become Unplayable. Completely Glitched.
When I go to play any save file, new or old, my screen glitches like crazy and the gpu and cpu spikes to an insane level. Ghost images of the Build menu are flickering across the screen along with some other weird images. Less than five minutes of having it open, on even the Sims 4 home screen before you load into a save file, causes my computer fans to kick in and the whole thing to grow too hot. It's gotten worse over the week, too. I'll jump on to see every few days and try updating and it gets WORSE. This doesn't happen with other games. I cleared caches, repaired EA and the game packs and followed all the instructions to lower graphics and do anything to take some weight off my computer. My computer is older, but it works just fine in all other areas but for the Sims. I don't use mods or do anything crazy. It's completely unplayable and has been for a week. I submitted something to EA and they haven't gotten back to me. I don't know what to do. I have one picture showing the weird sun and build icons, but the flickers all over the screen were hard to catch. All kinds of tearing and glitches occur across the whole screen nonstop. It's PC not MAC, although I don't know what difference that will make here. Thank you for any help you can give.144Views0likes5Comments
