Oumie-x Are you saying you sent in the computer for repair now, or that you did so previously? As in, do you still need help? The crash dumps folder should absolutely be there; what happens when you look for it? The point of using Windows key-R is you tell Windows to open that location. But in case the step isn't obvious, Windows key-R opens a run box in the lower-left corner of the screen, and you paste the text into that box and enter.
Basically, I had a hard time figuring out how to find the folder. I wanted to try again, but when I opened The Sims, my computer shut down and this time it had trouble starting back up. I spent five minutes trying to turn it on but nothing worked; the screen just stayed black. It finally started normally later, after I decided to leave it alone and take a break. To be honest, I’m a bit scared to turn it back on now. I’m starting to think The Sims isn't the problem, but maybe the computer itself is. Thanks for helping me anyway. I’ll let you know if anything changes once the computer is back up and running.
