Game skipping time

Just found a bug where my sim chooses to work from home in the Arts Critic Career. All of a Sudden maybe a couple of hours on from this (I don't know exactly since I don't watch the hours! However my video would show if it did skip back some hours) I get the message about work starting in an hour again and then her boss is unhappy with her and pays her $0 dollars for the day and she looses work gain that she has thanks to this. It also resets all of the jobs she had to do for that day and the day wasn't even done. In fact I had just had her finish breakfast and she was going to start work at home as I like her to work at home since I record. I also had this issue with the welcome wagon turning up again for a second time but the fact she looses job performance due to a bug resetting an hour or 2 of the day (I haven't noticed the time when it happens as usually I don't watch that in game as I am focused on playing/recording my gameplay) But it is kinda annoying as now all that performance gain I had has been lost due to something resetting the chores etc she had situated to do yet in the day but before she could well it reset and I get a notice her boss is unhappy with her performance yet its still work hours and a work day etc. Will share the video here once its uploaded as you can see it happen in that. I didn't notice it all till I watched back over my recording but this is not the first time its happened.

Just to let you know and will put a link to the video here in the morning as I need to sleep now.

EDIT: To Let you know I just watched back my video there is no time skipping back however she gets the work from home notice at around probably 9am in the morning. Her work doesn't start till 12pm, Then again at 12pm she gets a notice about work starting in an hour and I select work from home again not realising then it resets the chores for that day from home and her boss is unhappy with her hence the performance loss. Her career is Art Critic and shes a SNooty Pundit. So its kinda weird that this is happening but its kinda fustrating too as then anything I have done is a waste of time but this isn't the first time this has happened and I have only just reinstalled sims 4 again and done repairs etc. This is physically happening in the game and I am not doing anything to cause it.     the thread you posted in is for work task not fullfillng so yours seems different. Moved this to the tech forum for troubleshooting for now.

    Unfortunately I have a really hard time understanding your post even in awake- state but form what I understand the progress you made with the daily task and some other events that happened reset. 

    Do you only get this on the art critic career or also on other careers ? How often does it happen ? Every day ? If so, does it also happen if you start a new save for testing purposes ? Did you delete your localthumbnailcache file lately ?

    Sorry I was really tired when I wrote this. It happens every day. I haven't deleted that cache lately cause I only just reinstalled the game a couple of weeks ago and have only played less than a week on it as I couldn't play straight away.

    It happens every day when work comes up and Its only the art critic career that I have noticed as I currently have a sim in the tech career also. Other than a build I am working on this is the only game I am playing. I am not intending to start a new save just because of not having a lot of time but if I have to I will try to fit it in. Not sure if its other careers as I am not currently in any other careers that are work from home or to go to work. If you watch the video you can see what happens. At 9am I get the notice work is starting in an hour when it doesn't start till 12pm. Then at 11pm I also get a notice saying work is starting in an hour and that resets anything I have currently done and hence makes my boss unhappy with my and I loose job performance. Particulary if I haven't started yet since it doesn't start till 12pm.

    Makes me think its a bug I will try the localthumbnailcache when I next intend to play but otherwise I don't see how when I haven't played sims at all till now and this is straight off a reinstall.

    I also have NO mods or cc in my sims 4 game either as if I had that it would have been my first thought as to being the culprit but since I don't that is why I think its a bug.

    Which save should I try ? There's one without an house showing ? Is that the same for you ?

    Its the Penthouse Save. I have no idea which that is but it has a male and female sim. The other has two female friends. Sorry I missed this till now. I have been busy with a grandad in hospital with a broken hip etc.
