Game will not save since update 7/23/2024

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.108.329.1020 DX9
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? For rent, Horse Ranch, Growing together, Highschool years, Cottage living, Eco lifestyle, Discover University, Island Living, Seasons, Cats and dogs, City Living, Get to work. Dream Home decorator, Parenthood, Dine Out, Spa Day, Outdoor retreat. Luxury Party, Crystal Creations, Home chef Hustle, Knifty Knitting, My first pet stuff, Tiny Living, Moschino, Laundry day, Toddler stuff, Vintage Glamour, Backyard, romantic Garden, Movie hangout, Cool Kitchen.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Game progress wont save. I don't know how you can fix it but get it fixed.
What happens when the bug occurs? My game will not save since update on 7/23/24
What do you expect to see? To be able to play my game and save game progress.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.

Please describe the patch or change you made. After game update on 7/23/24

Game or gallery will not save or open gallery. Uninstalled and reinstalled. Made a new file. Lost all special rewards from May 2023 upon doing that. I would like the game rewards I had back also.

    @ilovetric  Did the new Sims 4 folder help?  If so, move your saves and other user content into that folder, if you haven't already.

    The login rewards are stored in UserSetting.ini, so find your old copy and restore it.

    @shaunaw44  Please try playing with no mods or custom content, as in, move the Mods folder to the desktop.  You don't need to save your progress.

    If that doesn't help, please try playing in a clean user folder.  Move the entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop, and when you launch the game, a clean folder will spawn with no content.  (Your saves and other content will be intact in the folder you moved but temporarily not read by the game.)  Don't add anything to the new folder yet; just start a new save and see whether you can save your progress.
