Game won't launch MSVCP100.dll is missing. EA support no help!!
Hi i updated my laptop to Windows 10, i tried to play sims 4 today but when i click play this message pops up:
'The program cant start because MSVCP100.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix the program.'
I tried to unistall and re install and then phoned EA support. On the phone half an hour with a guy who couldn't understand a word i said (im English, Yorkshire). He told me to delete my c++ files which i did, then re install following his instructions which i did (what he was telling me to click and install wasn't what showed up here but he didnt listen) restarted like he told me and it hasnt made a difference. So he said he would have to go away and reserch and phone me back. When i said im going out to collect my girls soon so i wont be in he hung up the phone.
So can any of you help me? x
Try installing this Visual C++ package.

Make sure you install both (vcredist_x64.exe and vcredist_x86.exe) if your operating system is 64-bit or just vcredist_x86.exe if your operating system is 32-bit.
If that didn't help, also install these too.

Following the same rules as before with 32-bit and 64-bit systems.
Let me know if that helped at all. 🙂
