@kir6739  Do you have any Razer software enabled, for example Cortex or Synapse?  If so, please uninstall it, restart your computer, and see whether you can play.  It's sometimes not enough to merely disable it in a clean boot.

If that doesn't help, did you in fact try a clean boot of Windows, like this?

If not, that would be the next thing to try, along with disabling anything else that's still running in the Task Manager and isn't from Windows/Intel/Nvidia.  But leave the EABackgroundService enabled since the EA App needs it in order to work.

I have exactly the same problem. Nothing work for me. Not clean folder, not clean start windows. I don't use any modes or something. Just...don't work

  • @hopestyles1  If you open the EA App first, then press Play within the App's game library, does Sims 4 open?  If not, do you see an error message, and what does it say?

If you can't launch Sims 4 from within the App, please try playing in a clean user folder, as a test.  Move the entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop, and when you launch the game, if it launches, a clean folder will spawn with no content.  (Your saves and other content will be intact in the folder you moved but temporarily not read by the game.)  Don't add anything to the new folder yet; just let me know whether you can get far enough to start a new save and play in live mode for a bit.

If that doesn't work either, please run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.
