Re: Game failing to launch. Windows flagging TS4_Launcher_x64.exe as Trojan

After the latest Sims 4 update, the game no longer launches.

The EA App displays:

“Failed to launch game. An error on our end caused the launch to fail. Try again a little later.”

Windows 11 Smart App Control blocks TS4_Launcher_x64.exe and reports that it was identified as malware.

I have already:

Completely reinstalled The Sims 4

Completely reinstalled the EA App

Repaired the game

Removed all Mods and Custom Content

Tested with a fresh Documents folder

Confirmed EA Background Service is running

Tried launching directly from TS4_x64.exe

The issue persists after a completely clean installation.
