Gaming Laptop for The Sims 4 - Help

I'm looking to buy a gaming laptop to play The Sims 4 because the one I have now can't support the game. I know nothing about computer specs and everytime I start searching for the best laptop I get bombarded with so much information that I'm afraid to choose the wrong one and get stuck with it.

I'm looking for something that I can play the game with the highest settings and I can use a LOT of CC. I don't really have a price point. Obviously if I can get the best specs without spending too much I would appreciate it.

Please help.

@simkreator  That processor is more than fine for Sims 4.  If you were planning on doing CPU-heavy tasks, e.g. compiling code or video editing, you might want a stronger processor.  But it's not that you couldn't do those, just that the tasks would take longer.

OK, I'm buying that one then. Thank you for everything, hopefully this will be the last time you'll hear from me. 🤓

@simkreator  I hope it works out well for you.  But even if your computer is perfect, Sims 4 is not, so you might find yourself back some time.  We'll be here.

  • Sims 4 is a life simulation single-player game that needs competent hardware configurations. A player controls the management and creation of characters which are possible only with sharp graphics. For this purpose, your laptop needs powerful dedicated graphics cards. A stable internet connection is needed only at the time of installation. Many of the people don’t focus on the technical requirements hence fail to install and play this game smoothly. A laptop with a powerful CPU and GPU will help to run this game efficiently.

    Hi folks,

We'll close this thread out here to help limit necroposting as it's been a while since it was last active. Keep in mind that as technology advances and the game expands, what's needed to run the game smoothly will also change i.e. the recommended hardware will likely change. Always check the minimum specs listed under the product before purchasing it to be sure you can run the game.

    Thanks,
