Giant Alien Baby??

My male mermaid sim just birthed two naturally conceived alien babies at the hospital.  I came home and there are 2 bassinets.  (Although one had the last name of “*” and their last name is “Burk”)

One is much larger than the sims are tall and the baby is giant.  😳 I cannot take care of this giant alien baby and I don’t want him to get taken away.  I get the thought bubble that there’s something in the way when I try to feed him.  I tried to upload a photo of the two babies side by side but it says my file is too large.  (I’m still going to try to load it)

Can anyone shed some light on this and tell me how to shrink the giant alien baby so he can eat 😂🤦🏻‍♀️

How the heck did a mermaid get pregnant?  I thought they didn’t let the occult’s mate with other occult’s!

    Okay I used a cheat to shrink the bassinet.  They seem okay now...I’m still mystified as tobhow they landed in the house that big 🧐

    It is good that the reset helped. A very unusual bug.
    Do you use any mods or CC?
    When it comes to children of mixed occult races, there is only one change.
    Mermaid and wizard or vampire may have children together but after the patch, these children will no longer be hybrids. Children will either inherit the occult genes from their father or mother.

    Not as of that save.  I played them yesterday after the patch and I did download a hair mesh (the only piece of CC currently in my game) 

    live not had any more issues with them but they are still just toddlers.  It seems the only issue so far was that the baby was huge lol.  

    Their half sisters are also twins (this fam had 3 sets!) they were spell casters and mermaids.  I didn’t even know that because I had been building their magic, had never had them swim.  They dive into the ocean, get a tail that won’t go away.  I found a cheat to remove the mermaid trait but their legs still make the mermaid motion in the water and they still flip as if they are shedding their tail when they get out.  

    Pill check them as well when I play today.  If the patch fixed it I didn’t pay attention.
