Giant red x's through thumbnails + more

Hey so basically I have a few issues since the recent patch [Dec. 1]. 

  1. There's big red x's through cas/build/buy etc thumbnails
  2. There's no text in my notification bubbles
  3. Dine Out is apparently broken too? Haven't had a chance to see for myself
  4. Get Together clubs are broken. I know I'm not alone in the missing text or club issue.

I've repaired my game twice now and still no luck. What with Vintage Glamour Stuff coming out tomorrow, it'd be nice to be able to play the game!

Any help is greatly appreciated. I don't know what to do anymore. Yes I have custom content and all of it is up to date with the latest patch.

    Could you try taking out your CC and mods, just place it on your desktop and test the game without them.

    Well of course I could play without cc, but it's not really the point... They were fine before the December 1st patch. Plus I have quite a few sims who use the cc I have installed (ca/buy/build).

    It's just to test, if the game works fine without there are CC items that haven't been updated.

    Hi, Hope you can help, we have the same issue in that there are red X's in build mode, do you know how we can overcome this?
