Glitch with Odd Jobs

When trying to get an odd job in my game the odd job pop-up box appears big in the corner of the screen and has this big pink dot on it. Eventually, it will close and I click it a second time and the and no box will appear but the pink dot and a yellow outlined box like the odd jobs pop-up box is supposed to be there.
