Goals won't pop up for parties
I have been trying to have parties (dinner, house etc) but I am not seeing the goals which usually pop up to allow you to have the party successfully. Is this a problem for anyone else?

I had this issue too and from what I have found it's not a new issue. I found someone with the same problem back in 2015.
I have two PC in my house and it doesn't matter who I use to try and host a party. I just get the timer and nothing else. There's no notification when I end the party early either.
So I'm thinking the family is likely glitched or something and tried moving them onto a new lot. Sure enough, they can host parties again.
Give that a go if you can.
