@simsgamer900 Try launching Sims 4 in windowed mode. Go into Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4, open Options.ini, search for fullscreen , and set it to 0 (zero).
If that doesn't help, let me know whether your computer runs Windows or macOS, and whether it helps to run Sims 4 without any other apps open, aside from the EA App or Origin of course.

Thank you for responding I checked and my fullscreen already is set to 0 I run Windows it's still freezing every single time I exit that goth ad yesterday I waited it out and it loaded for me after awhile but today it won't at all i'm not sure what makes a difference.

@simsgamer900 Please shut down any apps you use that include overlays: Discord, Steam, etc. Disable the EA app overlay too; the option is under Settings > Application.
If that doesn't help, please run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.
