GTW - Not going to work
I have a Sim in Get To Work who does not Go To Work (ironically).
Two of my adult Sims have active careers. One is a Colonel in the Detective career. The other is a Supporting Actor in the Actor career. They both start work at similar times - not something I can change.
The Colonel goes to work first. I get asked if I want to actively participate in his career, or send him alone. I usually send him alone. He jogs off to work (which takes an age) and a while later, I am asked if I want to join my acting Sim in her career. I usually choose to do so.
The Colonel really should have arrived at work by now. For some reason, he has to jog off a long way before the game concludes he has arrived at work. Due to him taking half an hour (in-game clock) to get to work, by the time I arrive in the Actor studios, he has still not arrived at the police station!
I then get shouted at by the game, because the Colonel is missing work. I cannot get him to the station though. No matter how many times I tell him to "go to work" he still will not do so.
If I physically switch back to him, he is busy doing nothing. Just now he was busy flirting with another woman in front of his wife. This now means that I have to put up with her being mad at him and them falling out, when he was supposed to have been at work - not hitting on his wife's friends. I go through the whole drawn-out process of instructing him to go to work again; watching him jog around the neighbourhood for what feels like ages, before he finally disappears and arrives at the station.
Then I have to switch back to the Actor. Now this creates a problem, because some of the time I have to complete the objectives has now passed. The Colonel's bosses are presumably angry at him for not turning up at work until a few hours late, his wife hates him for being unfaithful and it's harder to meet the day's objectives at the studio, due to the loss of time.
Can you please enter an option for the Colonel or whoever to teleport to the station, so that I don't have to keep going through this, as it is actually really annoying.
