Hi @Kellynn
moving this to tech for troubleshooting
Could you post your Computer's DxDiag?
To gather a DxDiag on your computer, please follow the steps here: https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/pc/how-to-gather-dxdiag-information/
You can attach the txt file to your post directly.
Did you do a folder rename and delete your cache files ?
i appreciate the move, since i wasn't sure where to post it. i can do the dx(it's attached), but it would be pointless, this has happened on 4 devices(win10 surface pro, win7 laptop, win7 desktop-which is now a win10 desktop completely rebuilt last spring with new hard drives etc). this has happened after hard drive replacements, complete uninstall-reinstall(all folders deleted etc).

Did you install the game from Origin on each computer and then start a new game every time?- 7 years ago
yes, these are all fresh installs from origin and no copied files.

Are all games independent that you tried with new Sims or did you download Sims from the gallery on each save ?
Any programs that could be interfering that are installed on each computer ?
Have you tried a clean boot ?

If it works in that mode, then it's a background program interfering and you will need to find out which one.
