Help: New laptop for the Sims 4

A few months ago my laptop stopped working, and it no longer supported Sims 4.

I'm currently looking for a new laptop that will allow me to play games smoothly, I've heard that the HP Gaming Victus is good; I have several options so I'd appreciate if you could help me.

I'm Spanish so the store is Spanish too, but if you have any problems with the links let me know and I'll give you a solution

Of course if you find another better laptop don't hesitate to tell me

Thanks ♡

  • @Rori-chan22  The Victus line is good quality overall and not too expensive, so it's always a reasonable choice.  The first laptop is massive overkill for Sims 4.  That's not a bad thing per se, but you'd be paying a lot more for power that the game can't fully use.  The second laptop is sufficient to play on ultra graphics settings, at least before adding high-resolution custom content or a tool like Reshade.

If you'd like to split the difference, this one is a step up from the second but a lot cheaper than the first:

You'd need to install Windows yourself, but that's very simple; it only requires temporary access to a computer already running Windows, a product key (you can buy a cheaper Windows 10 key and upgrade to 11 for free), and a USB stick you don't mind erasing.

This is an alternative with the same graphics card and a processor that's more than good enough, plus a brighter screen, and it's cheaper:

If you'd like to do more shopping yourself, the most important detail here is the graphics card.  An RTX 4050 is more than fast enough if the laptop's screen has a 1920x1080 resolution, and if you find one with a 2560x1440 (or close) resolution, an RTX 4060 would be sufficient.  Any processor paired with one of these GPUs will be powerful enough to keep up.  And if you want a screen that's reasonably bright, look for at least 300 nits; 350 is a little better, but the bigger difference, in terms of user experience, is between 250 and 300.

If you'd like me to check other sites, feel free to link them.  The language isn't a problem—I speak enough Spanish to understand, and the important details are easy to find in almost any language anyway.  And if you have more questions in general, please feel free to ask.
