HELP!

@aelisme0  There's no way to transfer your owned content from one account to another.  But the slow download shouldn't be account-related anyway, so there's not much point in trying to use a new account.

Instead, please format the USB stick.  You'll need to choose NTFS as the format, and it's important to erase the USB even if it's already NTFS.  Then unplug the USB, restart your computer, plug it back in, and try again to download Sims 4.

I was wondering if I can download sims 4 on my flash drive because I have no storage on my computer. But, I already have all the files (in properties > program files, etc.) so if i download sims from ea app would it over write my files? The only reason this is happening because I unlinked my steam account from my EA acc because steam is crap and I couldn't download the sims 4 again, because the og launch was on my other flash drive that broke. SORRY IF THIS IS CONFUSING. ☹️ help...

@aelisme0  Yes, you can install the game on a flash drive.  But it would be best to uninstall the copy on your internal drive first.  If you can't do that through the EA App or Steam, you can remove it with Revo Uninstaller (the free version is fine).  Here's a guide for doing so in case it helps:

Be sure to rename the Sims 4 folder in Documents > Electronic Arts to something that doesn't include "Sims 4" so that Revo doesn't flag it for deletion.  This folder contains your saves and other user data, not the game's program files.

okay. thanks so much. so i copy my ea folder somewhere else and rename it to like "Da sims 4" for example? sorry im just really cautious with technical stuff. also ur a hero like ive been having so many problems

back from school- i downloaded revo app but sims 4 is not there when i search it up. this is cuz its not installed on my computer so do i just delete the files?

@aelisme0  The point is to NOT have "Sims 4" in the name of the user folder.  So literally any other name would be fine.

If Revo can't find Sims 4, it's not installed.  Before deleting the files you've found though, I'd like to take a look at them to make sure you're not getting rid of anything critical.  For whatever folder or folders you found, please open them and post a screenshot of their contents.  Include the addres bar, above the list of files and folders, in the screenshots as well.

i deleted all the sims 4 files except for my mods cuz idc ab the rest. now im downloading sims 4 on my d drive through ea app but its hella slow and it the % keeps freezing. i tried to clear download cache already and i even uninstalled the app, restared my computer, everything. hoever i saw this vid ab nfts but i didnt understand so many thats the problem?? but there shouldnt b no problems with my flash drive cuz it has 115 gb and its brnd new
