@MightyPatrik Please unplug your second monitor and restart your computer, then try again.
You can also force the game to open at a 2560x1440 resolution. Again in options.ini, search for resolutionheight and set it to 1440, then search for resolutionwidth and set it to 2560. If you run into the same error, please go back to options.ini and let me know whether the settings are still what you specified. Please check the fullscreen/windowed setting too, as in, let me know if it's reverted since you changed it.

The one service to leave enabled is the EABackgroundService, which the EA App needs in order to run. Disable the rest as described.
When you reboot your computer, go through the Task Manager's background processes list shutting down any service that doesn't absolutely need to be running, for example anything from MSI Afterburner to RGB software might still be enabled. If you accidentally kill a critical process and it doesn't restart on its own, just reboot your computer again.
Don't open anything other than Sims 4 and the EA App while testing, not even a browser window. And leave your secondary monitor disabled.
I have tried to do what you told me with out any luck, I did it on the local account I have made.
I have sent some pictures form a chat with an ea support. The Ea support website doesn't allow me anymore to talk with live chat and is always set into self-help. But I was lucky once and got help, but after he told me to restart i couldn't join the case again...... ☹️
