Sims 4 license error

Hello,

 

I'm having a persistent license error with The Sims 4 and nothing I've tried has fixed it.

 

Here's what happened:

- I downloaded and launched The Sims 4 successfully once.

- After that I reinstalled Windows on my PC.

- I reinstalled EA App and downloaded The Sims 4 again.

- Now every time I try to launch it, I get a license error.

 

What I have already tried:

- Cleared the cache through EA App (as suggested by the error message)

- Fully uninstalled and reinstalled EA App

- Deleted The Sims 4 folder from Documents

- Tried logging in via Google, Steam, and email/password — same result every time

- Tried launching both through EA App and Steam

- Tried with and without VPN

 

Additional info:

- I only have one EA account

- The Sims 4 is visible in my EA App library

- Another EA game (Need for Speed: Most Wanted) launches without any issues from the same account

- The issue started specifically after the Windows reinstall

 

It seems like the license is not being properly restored to my account after the system reinstall. Could you please manually reset or restore the license on your end?
