I was so happy that I could play again after 2 yrs Making the characters was good no Issues but when I was finished w the characters I brought a house and then it started glitching. I tryd many options like repair the game(I tried it 4 times) didn’t work or look into the mod  folder. There was only resource. I just wanted to play sims again after 2 yrs 😔

    https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/products/sku/134870/intel-core-i39100-processor-6m-cache-up-to-4-20-ghz/downloads.html

Run the installer as an admin: right-click the download and select "Run as administrator."  Restart your computer after installing and before trying to play.

Please also open the case, just take the side panel off, and look at the motherboard to see whether your computer has a dedicated graphics card.  It would be large and in the center, just below the midline.  Let me know if you do, and what model it is.  If you don't have one, that's fine, you don't need to do anything else.

Separately, Microsoft Teams is crashing.  It might be starting with Windows, which is unnecessary.  You can tell it not to in the Task Manager's Startup section.  It will still be able to open when you tell it to, but it won't be running all the time when you're not using it.

  • @ij39kzli80d9  Did you bring over any data from your old computer, or download anything at all not directly from EA (mods, files for ConfigOverride, etc.)?  If so, please move the entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop and try again to play.  This will remove, but not delete, your previous content, including the sims you made.  Everything can be restored later, but for now, just test a new save.

If that doesn't help, please run a dxdiag and attach it to your reply.
