It says that it's already part of the community? Are you sure that you started a new save and justnot a new household? Maybe your family is in the same world as the new one you played recently? Worth double checking? 🙂
It was a new game entirely. The lot that my Legacy Family was occupying is empty in that new game. :c
Also, would that have any effect on the fact that the household is not showing up under Load Games/My Saved Games? Other household within the same world are still showing up. It's just this one household in particular that seems to have been eaten.

Well, only the latest played family is visible on a save game, so if you have several then yes, that would have an impact on who you can see on the "load" screen. They're not on any other saves either?
Do you know when you last played with them? We could try matching that date with the dates on the files in the save folder?
I'm going to a birthday party now (sorry) so if another helper want to take over fell free, otherwise I'll check back later 🙂
(don't know if anyone's online)- 8 years agoInteresting. That's still weird to me, considering when I start up at the main menu and click on Load Game, I can see the rest of the households.
I'm going to sift through each one and see if I can somehow switch households and find it that way.- 8 years ago
Nope, it was not hiding within another save. All of my saved games have only one household. The household I'm missing seems to only exist in my Gallery now. After repairing through Origin, I do have the option to "Place" it, but it looks like that would wipe all previous progress and I'd have to start from scratch as though I was moving them in for the first time.
I also tried copying my saves file to my desktop and restarting the game. That did not help, either.
