How do I change the location of my Mods folder?

I installed the sims 4 on my D drive where there is available space (This PC/New Volume(D:)/Program Files(x86)/Origin Games/Sims 4) but when I started the game it created a new Electronic Arts folder ...

I don't know if I did it wrong but I moved the Documents to drive D and when I opened the game all my saves and mods were gone :(
(Don't worry I made a backup of my sims 4 saves/mods lol)
