@rawcasian Hi. Some of us had things to do today.
You can't transfer your Steam-bought content to Origin, and if you buy an Origin copy of Sims 4 and install it through Origin, you won't be able to use your Steam-bought packs. The packs you own in Steam will only download when you've installed the base game thorugh Steam.
However, you should at least be able to buy packs through Origin. I don't think you even need to buy a second copy of the base game either. Once you've installed the game through Steam, Origin should download the Origin-bought packs.
- darkaudit4 years agoSeasoned Veteran@puzzlezaddict I don't have The Sims 4 on Steam, so I can't test myself, but you're saying you can't import CD keys like you could with The Sims 3? Those keys transferred just fine, with the exception of Pets which needed a slight workaround, but eventually joined its siblings on Origin.

@darkaudit Right, I'm saying Sims 4 in Steam works completely differently than Sims 3. I have TS3 in Steam too, and the CD keys still work fine, usually. Steam doesn't provide CD keys for Sims 4, and the only way to use Steam-bought content is to play through Steam.
