How do I get the resource.cfg back? Nothing is working

My mod folder deleted, so did the resource.cfg. I'm trying to get MCCC back on the game but obviously can't. I've tried restarting the game. I've tried enabling script mods and cc, then exiting the g...

@metteina06  Make sure you're looking at the correct folder, as mentioned in the link I posted earlier:

https://sims4.crinrict.com/eng/2018/07/how-to-find-your-user-folder/

Move the Mods folder from that particular Sims 4 folder to the desktop, launch the game, and quit, and there should be a new Mods folder with a new resource.cfg.

If that doesn't work, go in-game and disable script mods and custom content, both settings, and quit; then launch the game, reenable the settings, and quit.  There should now be a new Mods folder.
