How do you transfer your sims from one computer to another for Sims 4?

I know you can have the Sims 4 game on multiple computers. However, I was wondering, how can you transfer sims and their households from one computer to another with all the progress you made on the first computer?

Copy the contents of the saves folder to a USB stick and copy it into the saves folder on the other PC.

a question but how can i install the game on the new computer, old version was a from a cd rom, new computer doesn't have a cd rom
is there any way to download from EA without buying a new copy
