How to change save files directory?

The save files for my The Sims 4 were within OneDrive's folders, but once I disabled OD, and copy pasta my documents to other folder, The Sims 4 won't recognize that folder anymore, and shows me zero saves. I noticed, though, that it was created a new folder within "Public Users" folder for The Sims 4. I tried copy pasta the save files to there, and yes, now my game recognizes the saves again, but I don't like the idea of having it on "Public Users", since it's harder to reach there. Can I somehow change the directory, like repairing the game or even reinstalling it? Cheers!

  • @LustForJohn  Please list the default location for Documents on your computer.  Search Windows for "command prompt," open it, and copy and paste this command:

reg query "HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Shell Folders" /v "Personal"

    Then post the results.
