HI I'm having this issue at the moment as well. I've followed your steps on previous post and this one and still can't seem to be able to switch my game to 64 bits now I'm experiencing crashing and major lag during gameplay...do you know anything i can do please! My computer is brand new because i was having this same issue on a different laptop. it runs in 64 bit and has 4GB RAM i really can't figure out the problem...
The possibility to run 32bit has been removed so you are running 64bit. You say that you only have 4GB RAM which indicates that your computer may be too underpowered to run the game properly especially if you have some of the more recent packs..
Please post a DxDiag. https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/pc/how-to-gather-dxdiag-information/

sorry for the delay.. Also you're correct i am running in 64bit the error message pops up during startup and reads as " Warning You are running the 64 bit game executable on a system that does not meet recommended specifications and may experience game instability or performance issues. We recommend that you switch to the 32 bit executable in orgin...."

It "is" under recommended specifications. Since the 32bit version was discontinued you unfortunately can not downgrade and running from an external drive doesn't help either. If it is possible to upgrade RAM you may be able to run the game on the lowest settings but I can not guarantee it.
