The possibility to run 32bit has been removed so you are running 64bit. You say that you only have 4GB RAM which indicates that your computer may be too underpowered to run the game properly especially if you have some of the more recent packs..

sorry for the delay.. Also you're correct i am running in 64bit the error message pops up during startup and reads as " Warning You are running the 64 bit game executable on a system that does not meet recommended specifications and may experience game instability or performance issues. We recommend that you switch to the 32 bit executable in orgin...."

It "is" under recommended specifications. Since the 32bit version was discontinued you unfortunately can not downgrade and running from an external drive doesn't help either. If it is possible to upgrade RAM you may be able to run the game on the lowest settings but I can not guarantee it.
