How to fix error code 00000008: 00000000000000c8 in The Sims?

I’m having trouble loading the game. I can make a new household fine if I wanted, but if I hit the play button or “Load Game”, it gets stuck loading forever. Also, the Sims Delivery thing won’t downl...

@Scardie Unfortunately, this can be a stubborn error. You can certainly try the troubleshooting steps in this thread and this similar one:

Hello. How did you solve the bug in Sims 4? I'm getting the same error too. Code 00000008: 00000000000000c8. I really don't know what to do. I would appreciate it if you could tell me the steps you did. Note: My game is original. I bought it on Steam. Also, I don't use an antivirus program. Just Wndows itself. I will be glad if you help me.
