@Lissa_the_cool I've moved your post to the Sims 4 PC tech section.
Your saves, builds, created households, and other content are stored in your Sims 4 game folder in Documents\Electronic Arts. Hopefully you have a backup of this folder somewhere. If so, you just need to transfer the Saves and Tray folders from the old game folder to the new one.
This is a complete list of everything you'll find in your game folder:

This game sucks, how to ask children for save game on USB DRIVE, copy paste, etc!!! IDIOTIC solution. For those money should have an online saved solution for game.

Double-click Computer or This PC to open Windows File Explorer. Navigate to the USB drive to find TS4 save folder and Tray folder that you have on this drive and you need to move and right-click them. Select Copy from the given options.
Finally, find D drive /Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims4. Right-click The Sims4 folder and select Paste.
These only two folders you need to move!
Of course, before you will do it, delete the same new folders from The Sims4 folder on D drive to not have two the same.
I don't work for EA
