I can not go to a second floor by clicking on the arow in the upper right corner

Hello, (Maaike?🙂 

Yesterday I wanted to play the game and found out that I could not go to any other floor than the first one. My sims walk up and down and when they are on the second floor I can go to that sim by dubble click but I can not go to a second floor by clicking on the arow in the upper right corner. Therefore I am not able to put my sims to bed if the bed is on the second floot. On the fora is a lot of information about sims not being able to walk upstairs but I can't find anything about my problem. I tried othe families, made a new family and even deleted my 'buged'  family and house. The problem is stil there and is consitent throughout the game. Please help 🙂
