I can't bake!!!!!

I have played The Sims 4 for a while and I used to bake my cakes just fine. Recently i have noticed that my sims cannot bake the cakes. My sim started baking the cake but after a while, they suddenly stopped and they had that sign above them that indicated that they didnt have a way to get to it when they were standing right in front of it! Ive tried to place the cake and the sims in many locations around my lot but nothing worked. Can anyone tell me why this is happening and how I could fix it?:womanfrustrated:

    Check if there's something in the oven by clicking on it. You should get an option to remove that if there is.

    Hello! I am having the same problem...but the oven is empty and i have tried using new ones but the sims can't finish baking. they begin mixing and then quit half way through like there is something in their way when there is not. Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

    I had a similar problem due to a mod incompatible with the current version of the game. Remove all your mods and CC and try to cook again.

    Nothing in the oven. This started happening after the most recent upgrades. Have all packs minus vacuums and retro sportswear.
