Uninstall Origin by using Revo (free version) - it will clean your computer from all traces of Origin

If you have a problem with an update of the game, before you will try "check for updates" by right-clicking on the TS4 in the Origin library, obligatory fix the game in Origin.

ok i'm really bad in informatic and technologies in general so don't laugh but...if i erase origin won't i erase everything i bought there too?
No, once you reinstall and login again everything will be there.
thx! unfortunately after erasing and scanning Sims and Origin with Revo and reinstalling everything it still says that my Sims game is corrupted. Yes i tried adding mods yesterday....i guess i won't be able to play anymore : ((
Just remove the Mods again.
