1. Uninstall Origin by using Revo (free version) - it will be clean all traces of Origin from your computer

and install again

Your account will remain unchanged
2. Check if your antivirus program or Windows Defender isn't blocking The Sims4 or Origin - add The Sims4 and Origin to the exceptions or turn it off.

3. Try running the Origin application as an administrator:
Close the Origin application.
Right-click the Origin icon on the desktop (or in the Origin folder if the icon is not on the desktop) and select Run as administrator.
4. Check if you have enough disk space for the game
I don't work for EA I just tried, apparently didn't work ._.
