i cant move into a a house with sims already living in it

(btw theres only meant to be one a ) anyway i have been playing sims for about a year and it was working fine no trouble and about two days ago it for some reason has changed and isn't letting me move into a house with sims already living in it and its really annoying because if i want to live in a certain house and theres already a sim living in it i cant move in .  i used to be able to click on it and press evict but now i cant even click on it, it just says that there is already a household living in it . someone help me please !!

    Not a great solution, but try to play as them and make them move out or die. Then you could live there, I assume. 🐱

    Hm, that doesn't work for me either.

    I'll ask around and get back to you

    EDIT: What does work for me is start an existing game and then click create Sim from the main menu. After that I can place it in an existing family but not on a new game.
