I Can't open sims 4 because it says origin is uninstalled? HELP ASAP

So I click on the sims 4 symbol and then a pop up from EA comes up and say "Origin is uninstalled and is required to play your game. Please Reinstall Origin."

I don't remember uninstalling it and I really want to play my game.

How do you reinstall Origin and I keep clicking on it but the same thing keeps coming on the screen.

I have download CC but I have used it before and nothing seemed to be wrong.

Please Help!!

@SectumsempraIN Origin is an independent application. If you uninstall Origin you do not affect the game. If you have a pc there should be an Origin icon on your desktop. If you have a pc go into control panel - programs and features. Do you see Origin in the list? You can then uninstall Origin re download the Origin client software (google Origin) and run the installer. Is your computer a pc or mac?

It seems I have to reinstall Origin then also install Sims 4 again, I hope it works but I think I have lost my housesholds and cc
