Is it a residential lot ?
It is possible that since you don't own the expansion, the game can't place them
Could you post creator/name the lot so I can try if it works with the EP ?
Also did you just try one of those or multiple ?
The lot is called chenonceau castle France
I have no troubles placing it on a 50x50 lot so I'm guessing it needs GT to place (for whatever reason)
