I just bought sims 4 on origin, I downloaded it to my computer, I go to play it and I can't read half the stuff on the start up menu. There's lines over the pictures and writing. I then finally found where I can start the game even though I can't see where anything is because it's not visible on my screen.... and it asks to skip tutorial or play tutorial, I clicked one and it didn't do anything... I just paid for a game that doesn't work??? I'm pretty upset.

@paigedenomme Please try switching among fullscreen, windowed fullscreen, and windowed modes to see whether any of them look better. If you can't reach settings the normal way (by cllicking on the three dots in the upper right corner of the screen), hit the esc button to bring up the menu, then choose Game Options, then the Graphics tab on the left if it's not already selected.
If this doesn't help, please run a dxdiag and attach the results to a post.
