@Cybully Start by using "save as" to rename this save, so you can experiment on the new save; the old save file will be intact under the previous name. If you don't like what happens in the new save, just trash it and load the old one again.
Try moving your sim to a different house and back. You can do so with just the one sim or a single household. Quit the game (all the way to the desktop) and relaunch after each move. If that doesn't help, switch to playing another household for a few hours, then go back to the original one; again, quit between each switch.
