- In some cases, when installing or attempting to play, the game will ask you to grant access to the Documents folder. If you accidentally didn't grant this access, go to System Preferences -> Protection and Privacy -> Files and Folders, then find "The Sims 4" in the list and mark there the Documents folder to share this game folder.
- Are you on Mac or PC?
If you are on PC
Check if Antivirus/Firewall or Windows Defender isn't blocking Sims 4 and Origin. Add Origin and TS4 to the exceptions there or turn it off

hey! i couldn't solve this problem and i created a new origin account but this time i can't add game because it says 'this code has already been redeemed'. please help me🙂
