and the ea app says it's accessing them but in game isn't playing them. For example, the pack I bought was get to work, but the new careers aren't showing on the computer
You need to start the game with steam. Sadly, if you buy one DLC on steam you have only access if you start it with steam. I would not recommend mixing EA app and steam for sims 4 DLC. If it possibly I would try to get a refund on steam and buy it again on EA app. Steam normally give you without issue a refund.

Thanks, will try for refund from steam, since I've tried everything else to make it work

When I try to start it in steam, first it plays a video of the content, then when I try play now, it tries to open through ea app, which has been coming up with an error stating there's an error on their end, try a little later. I've now requested a refund with steam. I have learned my lesson when it comes to trying to get a bundle cheaper

Before I make more mistakes or try purchasing the packs through origin, should I uninstall steam? I had a look in game, and the packs I want and already purchased through steam are still currently showing as owned. Will that causes issues when I try to purchase through origin? or should I not uninstall steam until/unless refund comes through?
thanks in advance

origin is showing the packs purchased in steam as owned and doesn't give me the option to buy. will this be fixed if i uninstall steam?

they have denied refund, saying I've owned and played the game for too long, when in reality, I got to play it once for maybe 15 minutes . I can't find where I can protest decision
