Here is an easy way to find out which folder your game is using: https://sims4.crinrict.com/en/2018/07/how-to-find-your-user-folder
it says page looking for doesnt exist
The page is doing the same for me too. What you might want to try is searching your computer for Sims 4 to see where the path takes you.
To search your computer, click the Start button and in the search bar type Sims 4. For example, I can find mine with the path of: D:\Users\Username\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4
Yours might be different depending on how or where the documents folder was moved.

I corrected the link.
I tried that there are different locations with different saves however when i open the game its brand new.
in the D; in my moved documents folder there is a save file and in a new file called “saved” there is also game saves
however the game doesnt register any of them

When you follow this guide does it point to onedrive or the moved Documents folder? https://sims4.crinrict.com/en/2018/07/how-to-find-your-user-folder
My sims 4 game installed the game files in the following location (after moving my Documents -folder):
C:\users\username\Personal\Electronic Arts
If you want to retrieve data from your old games, copy the contents of the saves-folder (Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\saves) from the old location to the save folder of the new location.
Do the same for the contents of the tray-folder (copy them into the tray-folder)
The old location is most probably: C:\users\username\Documents\Electronic Arts
If you want to move the location of the Personal -file, edit the following registry in registry editor:
Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders\Personal
Change the value of Personal to e.g. D:\Personal, or whichever location you want the Sims 4 game files to be saved into.
I chose mine to save to D:\Documents, for example.
After you move any folder location, remember to copy the contents of the old location.
After copying the data, you can remove the old folder.

What you are talking about is the user files. The correct way to move these you can read here. https://www.windowscentral.com/how-move-default-user-folders-new-drive-windows-10
If you would like to move the game files as well rightclick the game in Origin and select Move Game.
