i recently moved my sims to an external hard drive now my cc isnt showing

hey so my laptops storage was running super low so i bought an external hard drive and moved it all over, now my cc isnt showing up. i tried deleting it all and i changed the file path and restarting it and all that and nothing is working

  • @willowfraser05  Your custom content (and mods, and saves, and saved builds, etc.) need to be in the Sims 4 game folder in Documents\Electronic Arts, or the game won't read them.  While you can install the game itself on an external hard drive, the game folder has to stay in Documents.  While there are ways to move the entire Documents folder elsewhere, it's not a good idea to redirect it to an external drive unless you plan on never unplugging that drive.
