If i buy the disc version of the sims 4 can it be on my origin account?

I'm going to be getting the disc version of the sims 4 but i would like to have it on my origin account can it be connected to origin? and if so how do I get it on my account if it's the disc version? all help will be appreciated. Thanks! 😉

Registering the game on Origin is even a requirement.

The disc version will have a serial code which you simply redeem at Origin.
