in game controls stopped working- sims 4, PC

    @BluBomber  Are there any files in ConfigOverride, inside Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4?  If so, please remove them.  I know you said you deleted the Sims 4 folder, but I'm not sure from your description how much of its content you restored.

    In case you're still using some mods or custom content, please remove the entire Mods folder as well, and don't add back any mods or cc until the game is working properly again.

    If you still have the issue, try playing in windowed mode rather than fullscreen.  The option is included with the other graphics settings.
