In-game time doesn't match the gameplay

I once again am having problems with my game. While im finally able to launch it, now the in game time doesnt match up. What i mean by this is my sims, a student in uni, will have a class at 11 am to 12:25 pm. 11 am will roll around but she wont go to class and the UI doesnt give me the "Go to Class" option. Around 11:25, however, she will go and ill get the option. She then goes to class as she usually would, but when 12:25 comes it says shes still in class. The UI still says class until 12:25 even though its now passed that. I had the game paused to look up if other had this issue, and it was on 12:56 and even though everything was pause like usual she appears outside the building and it gave me the notification.
