Infinite Saving in Build/Buy
@irishdragon7 To be totally clear, does this happen in a new save in a clean folder, with no mods or custom content present, if you only use premade houses and sims and/or build/create your own? As in, you're also not adding anything from the Gallery or your previous Tray folder? I ask because a number of Gallery builds have broken since the For Rent patch, and it's impossible to tell which are affected without testing them.
If you're using Gallery items or anything from your Tray, please test without.
If that doesn't help, or you're not using any other content, please try playing in a clean boot:
The one service to leave enabled is the EABackgroundService, which the EA App needs in order to run. Disable the rest as described.
When you reboot your computer, go through the Task Manager's background processes list shutting down any service that doesn't absolutely need to be running, for example anything from MSI Afterburner to RGB software might still be enabled. If you accidentally kill a critical process and it doesn't restart on its own, just reboot your computer again.
Don't open anything other than Sims 4 and the EA App while testing, not even a browser window.
If the clean boot helps, start selectively reenabling services until you find the problem.
If you get another crash, please repeat the text except with your computer offline. You can sign into the EA App and put it in offline mode, then disable wifi and/or disconnect the ethernet cable before pressing Play.
If going offline helps, test with only the EA App in offline mode but with your computer online overall.
