UPDATE
There's a new Origin patch now live. Close and reopen your Origin to be prompted for it.
If you get stuck on the loading screen, then you have a different issue. It's most probably caused by mods and custom content. A lot is broken by the newest patch and needs updating. Remove it until it is, then update your stuff.
This issue should now be resolved with the new Origin Beta Version.
To get Origin Beta, please follow these steps (credits: EA_Kristi)
- Go to Origin menu (top left corner of the client), Application Settings and General
- Tick the 'Update to the beta version when available' option
- Exit Origin client and restart
- Download and install the prompted update
There is no need to post your OER-IDs any longer UNLESS the beta version does not fix the issue for you.
If you don't want to download the Beta Version, you can still use the method of turning off Origin in Game.
After the latest Origin Update, there seems to be an issue that the game either doesn't start at all or starts in a very small Window and then sort of crashes.
If you have this issue, please use the Origin Error Report tool and post your OER ID in this thread.
After you've done that, try turning off Origin in Game/Origin Overlay (this is not Origin itself and you do not need to start the game to do this, just Origin).
- Open Origin
- Click on myGames
- Right-click on the game for which you want to turn off Origin in game
- Choose game properties
- Tick the option Disable Origin in game for this game.
If this does not work immediately, close Origin and make sure you have no ts4.exe process running (open Task Manager), and then restart your computer/Origin and try again.
This issue should now be resolved with the new Origin Beta Version.
