@EA_David wrote:@Lormagoth It might be worth restarting your machine with a Clean Boot, and make sure your're on an administrator account and try the redist package again.
If the issue persists, you might want to run the system file checker to ensure there's nothing wrong with your Windows.
Other things to watch for are overzealous security software and/or any malware on your machine.
Did a clean boot installation of the 64 bit package. No dice. System file checker says there were no violations. Ran through my firewall settings and security software and made sure anything that was EA was good to go, as well as anything tied to system 32 and/or .dll applications/files just to be sure.
The error persists!
Thank you for the update. Can you try restarting in Safe Mode with Networking and run the package again?
If the issue persists past this stage, can you try a new Windows User Profile to test if that's a factor?

Tried the Safe Mode thing, but apparently MSI service cannot be run in Safe Mode? Therefore nothing would install/uninstall.
I tried a new account just in case, but am getting the same error.
Edit: I made a registry key that allowed me to use the MSI installer in safe mode. However, it didn't fix the issue.
